The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action has swept the global political community, dropping jaws and raising both sighs of relief and strings of hurled insults. It has been repeatedly referred to as the "biggest diplomatic breakthrough" of Barack Obama's presidential run as well as of the last few decades and rightly so. The same Islamic Republic of Iran which was reported by the IAEA for safeguard non-compliance to the United Nations Security Council in 2006 has today decided to reach consensus with the P5+1 on what is being called a miracle by many. This deal could potentially defuse the majority of tension between the Iran and the West whilst simultaneously working towards helping to stabilise the volatile environment of the Middle East. The discussion of this agreement in the U.S Senate and House of Representatives has also brought up debate on U.S.A's future interests in the region and thus, is also a matter of contention.

14th July, 2015 will henceforth be remembered as a historical, life-changing date. But members of the U.S. Senate and House, the reason it will be remembered as such is up to you. Whilst the international community is working towards general consensus on this agreement, it is up to the bicameral legislature of the U.S. Congress to decide whether you will accept the decision of the Obama Administration, or not.
