The International Press serves as the lens through which the events in the United Nations (and other similar organisations) are viewed by the world at large.

Other committees have a cohesiveness of purpose during MUNs. They have and will have a general indication of their path during the three days of committee. We cannot know; that’s the gratifying unpredictability of journalism.

While in reality most Press Corps would remain passive when reporting on committees, this tends to be quite dull when implemented in an MUN. As such the International Press for CISMUN 2015 is going to be far more than just reporting; opinion pieces, satirical cartoons and an uncompromising attachment to mockery are our watchwords. To paraphrase is a necessity; Journalism is the printing of what someone, somewhere does not want printed. The rest is public relations. The agendas are set; the delegates change the world in committee. It's our job to make sure that change is remembered
